In 2023, konnectIT achieved a significant milestone by outpacing the competition and being awarded Task Order 3-003 as a Prime Contractor for the Configuration, Upgrade, and Maintenance of Chicago’s Commuter Rail System. This task order presented a unique opportunity for konnectIT to showcase its proficiency in managing complex Cisco and multi-vendor environments across Operational Transit (OT) and SCADA networks.
The project encompassed a comprehensive range of tasks, including assessment, design, configuration, and segmentation regarding Critical Infrastructure (CI) and Life Safety system components.
With a keen focus on High Availability (HA), the team worked across many technologies, including but not limited to:

VPN/IPSec
Routing VRFs and route policies

Management, monitoring, & logging technologies
